Dr. Wagner is a staff member at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
He received his B.S. (summa cum laude, honor scholar in engineering) in 1993, M.S. in 1995, and Ph.D. in 1999 from the University of Missouri-Rolla, all with majors in mechanical engineering. Robert has worked as a summer intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1992, 1996, and 1998, and as a graduate intern at Ford Motor Company in 1995. Robert's honors include his induction into Tau Beta Pi, Pi Tau Sigma, and Phi Kappa Phi. He is the recipient of an EPA Science to Achieve Results Graduate Fellowship. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Combustion Institute, and the Institute of Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems (ILASS) and was certified as an Engineer-in-Training in the State of Missouri in 1992.
